Terms & Conditions of ordering:

 

Placing an order with Cakes Devoured:

Once an order has been placed Online, by email or over the phone, the customer is subject to our terms and conditions automatically.

  • The full payment is required when placing the order online and 50% of the order value, up to €100, is required to confirmation the order when ordering by email or over the phone.
  • We require a minimum of 5 full days to fulfil your order for local delivery; a minimum of 10 days is required for orders to be posted.
  • Due to the number of orders we handle it is important that you check that you have selected the correct delivery date and delivery address; you may be able to change it but it might incur extra costs depending on the request. Please note that you can change the delivery/collection date up to 2 full working days before the delivery date.

 

Product Images:

Being a handmade made to order food item some or part of the decoration or colours may vary, however Cakes Devoured aims to match the product image a closely as possible.

 

Deliveries:

It is your full responsibility to be present in the location requested for the delivery as well as supply the correct details to deliver your order; if any of the details are incorrect this causes delay and in some cases the need to re-deliver, for which you might incur in extra charges which are at the discretion of the company.

 

We can confirm a delivery date but not a delivery time. We will contact you the day before to confirm the delivery time. It is the responsibility of the customer to be present to receive their order, or to have specified who will receive the order, with a contact number.

 

Cakes Devoured will be making the products that the customer has ordered for the date of delivery/collection requested. It is the responsibility of the customer to collect/receive the cake on the date requested. We would hold any products up to 1 day from non-delivery, after this the products will be donated to a local charity. We will be unable to offer a new product, we will not be able to offer a refund and we will not be able to offer any discounts for a new product as Cakes Devoured have fulfilled its responsibility of producing an item that was not collected/received on delivery.

 

Changes to orders:

You may request a change after placing an order but we might not be able to accommodate late changes, approved changes may incur in further charges.

 

Allergies:

It is full responsibility of the customer to inform us in writing of any severe allergies, our website has all the information about our products but it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the product is perfectly suitable for the consumer. Note that we cannot guarantee any products free from any trace elements due to the nature of the kitchen.

 

Food Safety:

Cakes Devoured follows strict health and safety guidelines. Chilled food can only be left out of refrigeration for a maximum of four (4) hours. After this time the food will be deemed unsafe and consequently disposed of. It is full responsibility of the customer if they consume any items that might have been outside the fridge for longer than 4 hours.

 

Value Added Tax:

Cakes Devoured is currently not registered for VAT. If at any time in the future that status should change, the recipient of a supply under contract will pay any applicable Value Added Tax at the same time as paying for the supply of goods; in that instance, some items might be zero rated and it will be clearly specify on our invoices and quotes the total of VAT paid.

 

Exchanges or replacements:

Due to the nature of Cakes Devoured products, no exchange or refund will be given. In the unlikely event that one of our products is not up to standard we would require the products to be brought back to verify that there are issues with the products, failing to bring the cake back or provide any pictures would result in not being able to process any complaints.

 

Refund policy:

Cakes Devoured does not offer refunds, regardless of the issue. Cakes Devoured can only offer you a partial discount on your next order or a whole new cake for the same value of your initial purchase; we reserve the right to allocate the discount appropriate for each other, even if a cake is brought back we will not be able to process refunds.

 

Cancellation policy for any product supply by Cakes Devoured:

In the regrettable situation that the Client cancels an order of cakes, cupcakes or cookies sold by Cakes Devoured , written notification is required, and the following cancellation fees with apply regardless of the ordering date:

  • Over 14 days prior to the delivery or collection date we have a small charge of €10 to cancel an order to cover ordering costs.
  • At least (14) days prior to the delivery or collection date: (50%) of invoice will be charged by Cakes Devoured
  • Al least (7) days prior to the delivery or collection date (75%) of the full amount will be charged by Cakes Devoured
  • At least (3) days or less prior to the delivery or collection date, One hundred percent (100%) of the total invoice charge is to be paid by the Client to Cakes Devoured .

 

Website Terms & Conditions

Cakes Devoured is company registered in Ireland and based in Galway. We as company provide services and products that are subject to our terms of use, your access and use of this website are pre-conditioned on accepting the following disclaimers, consents, notices, terms and conditions.

This website is not intended to be used by children under 18 years of age, if you are under 18 you may browse, however you will not be allowed to place orders as per credit card identification.

 

Cakes Devoured reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, cancel orders at its discretion and without limitation if Cakes Devoured believes that the customer conduct violates Irish law or can be damaging to the interests of Cakes Devoured specials or discriminatory in any way. 

 

Copyright:

 All content included on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, buttons, icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of Cakes Devoured specials ltd and it should not be Used, copied, duplicated or reproduced, this is protected by copyright laws in Ireland and internationally.

 

Uploads:

Any individual uploading comments, reviews, images and any form of content to our website or social media channels gives Cakes Devoured perpetual, royalty free, irrevocable right of distribution, use, publish, translate, update and modify as Cakes Devoured finds suitable, you also give the right to publish the name used while submitting the content if any.

 

Price changes:

Cakes Devoured reserves the right to make price changes without previous notice but no price increase will be applied to confirmed and paid orders, please note that quotations do not qualify as confirmed orders.
